The Regional Planning Workshop aimed to provide a valuable platform for regional, international, interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder dialogues to contribute to the preparation phase of the Decade and the development of the implementation plan. Throughout the three-day workshop, participants highlighted the unique characteristics of this region in both its oceanographic environment and significant contribution to the global social-economic development.
