The goal of this initiative is to leverage existing off-grid, small-scale, low-power applications at sea to discover technologically and commercially viable marine hydrokinetic energy technologies (eg. ocean tidal, wave, currents, thermal gradient), and utilize these mature markets to drive R&D for ocean energy grid integration in the future.
